How it works

1

Sign up in 2 minutes

Pick a plan, tell us where your bins live (side yard, gate code, dog's name — we take notes), and put a card on file. Nothing is charged for your first two weeks.

2

We handle every trash day

Bins out to the curb the night before pickup, back to their spot after the truck comes. Every week, holidays included — we track the schedule changes so you don't have to.

3

You get a text. That's it.

"Bins are out." "Bins are back." That's your whole job now. Family members can get the texts too — perfect for checking in on Mom and Dad's place.

Bins get inspected in San Diego now.
Ours never get tagged.

Under California's new organics law (SB 1383), San Diego County inspectors now flip bin lids and tag bins with trash, recycling, or food waste in the wrong place. Every week, we give your bins the same quick check the inspectors do — before they ever see them. You'll never be the house with the tag on the handle.

Simple pricing. First two weeks free.

Curbside+

$52/mo
  • 3–5 bins
  • We roll your bins to the curb the evening before your collection day and return them to their spot after the truck comes — every week. And we only roll out bins that need it: if a bin is empty, it stays put.
  • You get a text when your bins are at the curb and another when they're back. Family members can get the same texts — handy for keeping an eye on Mom and Dad's place.
  • San Diego inspectors now flip bin lids and tag mis-sorted bins. We give yours the same quick top-layer glance every week — and text you if something's in the wrong bin. We never dig through your trash.
  • When a holiday slides your pickup day, we track it and adjust automatically.
  • Going out of town? Tell us. We'll still roll out one bin and bring it back on trash day so your home looks lived-in while you're away — no bins piling up at the curb announcing an empty house. Service and billing continue as normal.
  • If the truck skips your street, we re-stage your bins for the makeup day. You don't chase the hauler — we do.
  • One extra visit outside the normal schedule, on request — an overflow bin staged early after a party, bins out for bulky-item pickup day, or moved for a driveway project. Just give us a day's notice.

SD Trash Pandas badge

The best gift for Mom & Dad

Many of our customers are signed up by their kids. Heavy bins, dark driveways, and a chore that never ends — gone. And you get the same weekly text they do, so you always know it's handled. Sign up with their address and your card; we'll take it from there.

Are we on your street yet?

We grow neighborhood by neighborhood so every home gets the same reliable service. Enter your ZIP code to see if your Pandas have arrived:

Questions people actually ask

Why do you need my card if the first two weeks are free?

The card just holds your spot — nothing is charged during your trial, and you can cancel anytime online in about 30 seconds. Payments are handled by Stripe, the same processor used by millions of businesses. We never see or store your card number.

Who actually comes to my house?

The same person every week — we're a local family business, not an app full of gig workers. You'll know your Panda by name.

What about holiday weeks when pickup day changes?

We track the collection schedule for your street, including holiday slides. That's our job now, not yours.

My bins are behind a gate / on a side yard / guarded by a very serious dog.

There's a spot for all of that at signup — gate codes, bin locations, and dog intel are kept private and only used to service your home.

What if the truck misses my pickup?

If the hauler skips your street, we re-stage your bins for the makeup day. On Curbside+ and White Glove, that's included automatically.

What happens when I go on vacation?

On Curbside+ and White Glove, just tell us you're away and we'll put your home on vacation hold: we still roll out one bin and bring it back on trash day so the house looks lived-in — no overflowing curb, no "nobody's home" signal. And as always, we skip any bin that's empty.

Do you put out bins that are basically empty?

No — if a bin doesn't need to go out, we leave it in place. Less curb clutter, less wear on your bins, and it's one of the little things the weekly check is for.

How do I cancel?

Online, anytime, through the same portal you signed up with. No phone call required, no hard feelings — though we'll miss you.

Why we do this

We're San Diegans — a local, family-owned, veteran-owned business — and we started SD Trash Pandas because trash day shouldn't be the hardest part of anyone's week. This is more than rolling bins for us:

For the neighbors who can't

For a lot of our customers — seniors, folks recovering from surgery, anyone who shouldn't be wrestling a heavy bin down a dark driveway — this isn't a luxury, it's independence. We take real pride in being the reason someone's parents get to stay comfortably in the home they love.

For the place we live

Right item, right bin. Our weekly sort check isn't just about avoiding county tags — when recycling and food waste actually end up where they belong, less of San Diego goes to the landfill. Small thing, every bin, every week. It adds up.

For a better community

Your route Panda is a neighbor, not a gig worker — the same face at your curb every week, from a family that lives here. When neighbors help neighbors, streets get friendlier, curbs get cleaner, and everybody knows who to wave at.

Tonight could be the last time you ever take out the bins.
